Begin Your Healing Journey with Cicely

  • Cicely Green, LCPC

Are you feeling exhausted and disheartened by prioritizing others’ needs over your own, repetitive emotional and professional burn out, struggling to maintain healthy relationships, or disconnected from your needs, wants, and ideal life? Do issues you faced as a child manifest in your adult life? Do you cope with these struggles through escapism, numbing, and/or by accomplishing, doing more, or working tirelessly? As a trauma survivor and often the “only one” in many spaces, I can wholeheartedly relate.

I specialize in building the confidence of high achieving BIPOC women who have experienced complex PTSD or trauma due to: an unloving childhood, unhealthy relationships, unfulfilling work places, racism, female oppression, and/or patriarchy.

In therapy with me, you’ll learn how to validate, reparent, love and free your inner child. Since she encompasses the core of you - through her, your adult self will have no choice but to do the same. Instead of shaping yourself based on shoulds, expectations, obligations, and distractions — You’ll learn how to choose yourself, live softly and radically as a Black woman, express dark and daring emotions, and take up space in the world as your authentic self.
